Break out the magnifying glasses and combs — another mysteriously bad hair day is in Tom Hanks' near future.

Hanks and director Ron Howard, the duo behind The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons, will return to the world of Harvard historian Robert Langdon in Inferno, based on the Dan Brown novel of the same name. According to Deadline, production will begin in April.

In Inferno, Langdon finds himself in an Italian hospital with amnesia, and forced to team with a doctor to help restore his memories and stop a villain from unleashing a global plague connected to Dante's Inferno.

The film, from Sony Pictures and Imagine Entertainment, currently has no release date.
