Tom Cruise's sci-fi period just keeps on rolling. The actor, who recently starred in Oblivion, also has an adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka's novel All You Need Is Kill in the works. The film finds its armored, sci-fi hero reliving the same battle over and over again until he can figure out what he's doing wrong and win the day.

The film has been retitled Edge of Tomorrow and will be making its way this week to Comic-Con International in San Diego, where attendees will also be able to pick up the convention-exclusive poster.

Co-producers Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow will show off the first look at footage from the film in Hall H at the convention. Directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity) Edge of Tomorrow also stars Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.
