Titan Comics today announced the creative team for its "Independence Day" comic. Writer Victor Gischler and artist Steve Scott's story will fill in the gaps between the end of the original blockbuster film and returning director Roland Emmerich's upcoming sequel, "Independence Day: Resurgence."

The publisher also released the first round of solicitation copy for the the series' initial two issues, on sale in March, as well as an early look at the series' cover art by Dio Neves and Alex Ronald.
