Featuring a cover by Eisner winner Francesco Francavilla, and interior art by Thony Silas, the series is slated to debut in July, presenting tales of the characters ahead of the events of the movie. Each character -- Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman -- will star in a solo adventure, with the final issue detailing the formation of the alternate reality's Justice League.

DC has not yet announced a writer for the prequel comics.
