Bruce Timm is joining writer Brian Michael Bendis on an upcoming issue of All-New X-Men." And so are Grampa, Art Adams, Skottie Young, J. Scott Campbell, David Mack and a number of Pixar and Tumblr artists.

Bendis took to the world of podcasts to announce the lineup for his all-star artist jam issue, telling Word Balloon host John Siuntres all about his and Marvel Comics' plans for the celebratory story.

"I like when we bury some announcement in the middle of the podcast," Bendis told Siuntres. "'All-New X-Men' #25, is a double, close to triple-size anniversary issue. It's kind of like the tail-end of the fiftieth anniversary of the X-Men celebration. It is an all-star jam issue, and we specifically went for people who I've never worked with before, or, literally, you'll never get a whole book out of them. We're putting together the final pieces right now, but Bruce Timm and Art Adams and Paul Smith and quite a few other people are joining us.

"I can't even tell you how excited I am," the writer continued. "Pixar artists are in it, some guys that are Tumblr heroes like Dan Hipp, and some other people... There's this dude -- I can't remember his name off the top of my head, but there's a guy on Tumblr that does these Jean Grey stories that he writes and draws. And they're hilarious, and we got him. He's gonna do a piece, and it's his Marvel debut."

"All-New X-Men" #25, by Bendis and an all-star roster of artists, hits stores in April.
