Larry, Curly and Moe are turning for the sequel nobody asked for. Well, nobody except perhaps for stars Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos and Will Sasso, who'll reprise their roles in the sequel to 2012's "The Three Stooges."

The announcement was made today by C3 Entertainment, Grand Peaks Entertainment and The Exchange. Brothers Peter and Bobby Farrelly, who directed the first film, aren't returning for seconds.

Cameron Fay ("Brother in Laws") will write the script, characterized as "a truly unique blend of fast paced action with the hilarious mayhem."

The original film opened to mixed reviews, and just $54.8 million on an estimated production budget of $30 million (which doesn't account for marketing and distribution costs).
