The official plot synopsis of “The Wolverine” has made its way online. While nothing in the synopsis is actually all that surprising, it’s nice to have a few things completely confirmed.
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

THE WALKING DEAD
TV Guide has posted three new stills from the upcoming episode of “The Walking Dead.”
Additionally, series creator Robert Kirkman stated a fan-favorite character is set to join the ranks of the AMC show and hinted that it might be Tyreese, the ex-NFL Linebacker who was a part of Rick’s group of survivors in the comic until his death at the hands of the Governor in “The Walking Dead” #46.

The CW has released a new featurette for “Arrow,” this time focusing on the stunt work that went into Oliver’s showdown with China White in the silo.

Mark Millar, via Twitter, confirmed that Matthew Vaughn will produce the adaptation of “Superior” and head the search for a director.
“We’re doing a movie of Superior,” Millar tweeted. “You’ll hear more about it after Christmas. Matthew Vaughn producing and choosing director.”
STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS
According to TrekMovie.com, the first full trailer for “Star Trek Into Darkness” will debut December 14, attached to the theatrical release of “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.” TrekMovie has confirmed that the trailer will be full-length and not a short teaser trailer.

Vulture reports Michael Bay’s “Transformers 4” starring Mark Wahlberg is likely to be set in China — but it’s not really for story purposes. Vulture’s unnamed sources claim it’s because filming in China and working with a local production partner will increase the likelihood of the film seeing a wide release in China.
