Clark Gregg tells Superhero Hype, “I just have been in New Mexico where I was a little more busy, dealing with the arrival of a certain Norse god.” His major scene in “Iron Man 2” suggests his character, Agent Coulson, is headed for the American Southwest. “I was just very lucky that they chose to expand that character and chosen to put him more into the universe of it. It’s really a blast!” says the actor. Meanwhile, Latino Review has your first look at The Destroyer. Y’know, if you really want to look … what with it being a spoiler and all. Like yesterday’s scoop, I’m going to refrain from posting the image and let you conscience be your guide. I barely have one, so I took a look.
Starring Chris Hemsworth, release date: May 6th, 2011
Collider and various other sites are posting a press released from Warner Bros and IMAX discussing the various films the studio will bring to the large-size film and screen format. Amongst that list includes, “‘Fury Road’, ‘Batman 3’, and ‘Superman’.” The press release lists both movies as part of “an additional 15 films over the course of 2011, 2012 and 2013,” so while it’s not the most precise of release dates, the Superman film is becoming a more solid entity. There’s one other film mentioned in that press release that I’ll talk about later.

Pajiba reports a film based on DC’s generational hero may be afoot. Unfortunately, they can’t figure out which Starman the feature may focus on. “Which version is sort of unknown — he’l wield a gravity rod, have energy powers, and likely be able to fly. One of the more recent ‘Starman’ characters could also manipulate mass, but not word on whether that power will be present. It’s being produced by Dan Lin (‘Sherlock Holmes’ — yay!, ‘Terminator Salvation’ — hmm…) and Gregory Noveck (‘Jonah Hex’ — jury’s still out). No writer or director is attached yet, as the film is in very early development,” they write. While I’d love to see Jack come to the screen, I don’t know how much of his story would really make it to the screen.
Release date: TBA
While that press release from earlier mentions the film as a 2013 release, Heat Vision has learned Warner Bros and MGM still intend for the first installment to be released in December 2012. ” 2011 proved not to be a realistic date and instead served more as a guideline, according to insiders, because when it was first announced, no scripts were written, nor schedules or budgets drawn up,” writes Heat Vision. “Warners moved quickly to set the calendar straight in the wake of the Imax release, and by midday, the giant-screen-format company said it was going to send out a correction, officially making 2012 the new date for the first ‘Hobbit’ movie.”
Release date: 2012?
IRON MAN 2
Jon Favreau talks to MTV News about some of the Marvel hints in the film:
Starring Robert Downey Jr., release date: May 7th, 2010
In case you missed it, I interviewed Marvel’s Kevin Feige for CBR. While not confirming the director, he did say a quality he is looking for in that film director is “somebody in who has a unique voice and when it comes to ‘The Avengers,’ that voice is the interplay between the multiple characters.” Meanwhile, Robert Downey Jr. answers some questions about the film to MTV News:
