The marketing for Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok has so far focused heavily on the Hulk, Hela, Valkyrie and, of course, the god of thunder. However, conspicuous by their absence are Thor's loyal Asgardian companions, Lady Sif and the Warriors Three -- and while Jaimie Alexander’s Sif, Zachary Levi’s Fandral and Ray Stevenson’s Volstagg still remain to be seen, a new image from the sequel reveals that Tadanobu Asano will reprise his role as Hogun.

Uncovered by ComicBookMovie, the still depicts Asano's Hogun sporting his familiar battle attire as he stands in front of a group of Asgardian soldiers, which suggests he'll likely play a role in defending the realm against Cate Blanchett's Hela.

Until now, little was known about if and how Lady Sif and the Warriors Three would factor into the plot of Ragnarok, other than that we would, at the very least, learn their fate in the film.

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk.

Arriving Nov. 3, director Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/the Hulk and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.
