It's actually Daizyujin, the combining robot from the Japanese television series "Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger," whose action footage was repurposed in the United States for "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers." But, hey, you can call it Megazord if you want; it's your money.

Part of Bandai's Soul of Chogokin line, known for its collector toys based on classic anime and live-action TV series, the 10-inch figure is being released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the sprawling Super Sentai franchise.

As in the TV series, the mecha is composed of five Dinozords (or Guardian Beasts in the original): Tyrannosaurus, Pterodactyl, Mastodon, Triceratops and Sabertooth Tiger. Each one is posable, and can also be combined to create the tank-like first form (aka Beast Tank Dino Tanker), complete with dual cannons.

Priced at about $290, the Daizyujin figure will be released in April, which means you should probably start looking for a Japanese toy importer, not to mention saving your pennies.
