In case you needed a reminder of the march of time, next year will mark the 25th anniversary of Batman Returns, which could explain why we're seeing so much new merchandise tied to the Tim Burton film. Not that I'm complaining, mind you, because it means we get products like that realistic Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman statue, and now this 18-inch action figure from NECA.

Yes, 18 inches, like the previously released 1/4th-scale Batman and Penguin. But enough about them. Boasting some 30 points of articulation, the Catwoman figure is highly detailed, with loose threads dangling from her homemade costume. There are also interchangeable heads (one calm, the other angry and with a battle-damaged mask), interchangeable hands, and taser and whip accessories.

The Catwoman figure is scheduled for release in October.
