AMC has rolled out a new trailer for the second season of its period drama "Turn: Washington's Spies."

Formerly known simply as "Turn," the series stars Jamie Bell as Abraham Woodhull, a farmer living in British-occupied Long Island during the Revolutionary War, who bands together with a group of childhood friends to form the Culper Ring – America’s first spy ring.

Based on Alexander Rose’s 2007 book “Washington’s Spies: The Story of America’s First Spy Ring,” the drama moves in its second season deeper into the battles waged by soldiers and civilians alike in the pursuit of freedom. As Abe becomes more committed to the Culper Ring, George Washington (Ian Kahn) fights both personal demons and betrayal from within his ranks.

"Turn" returns with a two-hour premiere Monday, April 13, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, and then move to its regular 10 p.m. slot the following week.
