Director James Mangold wasn't satisfied giving the Internet just one look at Will Yun Lee as Silver Samurai in the CinemaCon footage released last week. Instead, he wanted fans to see the character from a different angle, so Mangold took to Twitter to show off a new poster featuring an artistic representation of the character, along with the message, "As we are beginning to offer glimpses of Silver Samurai, here's a new great one sheet image for #thewolverine."

Here's the official synopsis:

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

The Wolverine also stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Svetlana Khodchenkova as Viper, Hiroyuki Sanada Shingen Yashida, Hal Yamanouchi as Yashida, Tao Okamoto as Mariko Yashida, Rila Fukushima as Yukio and Brian Tee as Noburo Mori. The film opens July 26.
