STAR WARSYesterday saw an ongoing, complicated saga involving director Zack Snyder and a report that he was developing a film based on Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai" in the "Star Wars" universe. While the rumor was quashed later that day, it seems as though (much like "Star Wars") the saga is still ongoing.

Vulture, the outlet that originally posted the rumor, stands by the accuracy of its original report, citing a "source very familiar with the situation" as stating Snyder recently met with Lucasfilm executives about the project.

The report was corroborated by Variety's Jeff Sneider on Twitter.

"No clue how REAL the Zack Snyder - Star Wars offshoot rumors are," Sneider said via Twitter, "but I GUARANTEE he met with Kathy Kennedy to pitch her that Seven Jedi idea."

With varying reports as the accuracy of Snyder's involvement in a "Star Wars" offshoot film, expect this rumor to get more confusing before it becomes clearer.

THOR: THE DARK WORLD"Lost" and "Oz" actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje spoke with MTV about his role as Algrim and Kurse in "Thor: The Dark World" and his hope to continue as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"As we speak, we're talking about that," the actor told MTV. "Obviously Marvel is a great family that I'm happy to be working with. We had a great time on ['Thor'], so I'd love to continue that relationship."
