A new casting call for AMC's "The Walking Dead" has surfaced online, and the character it describes sounds a lot like fan favorite antagonist Negan (via Spoil the Dead). Calling for a "physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath," the casting call flies under the name "Orin," but the title could simply be a code to keep Negan's arrival on the show under wraps. CBR has reached out to AMC for comment.

Negan, his barbed wire-wrapped bat named Lucille and popular good guy Jesus are all major parts of the comic book's Alexandria-based storylines. With Tom Payne announced to play Jesus earlier today, it wouldn't be a surprise if Negan were to follow.

"It's absolutely a possibility," showrunner Scott M. Gimple said of Negan's arrival on the TV series in an earlier interview. "And when I say it's a possibility, we have a plan in place, but there's a couple variables for that plan that we're deciding about. It really depends on a few factors as we move into setting up the last bit of the season story-wise."

Based on the Image Comics series of the same name and created by Robert Kirkman, the sixth season of "The Walking Dead" is scheduled to debut with a 90-minute episode Oct. 11 on AMC.
