THE WALKING DEADAMC is developing a spinoff companion series to "The Walking Dead" with an eye to air the pilot in 2015. Series creator Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert are all onboard to reprise their roles as executive producers.

"After 10 years of writing the comic book series and being so close to the debut of our fourth, and in my opinion, best season of the TV series, I couldn't be more thrilled about getting the chance to create a new corner of The Walking Dead universe," said Kirkman via press release. "The opportunity to make a show that isn't tethered by the events of the comic book, and is truly a blank page, has set my creativity racing."

Season four debuts October 12 on AMC.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.The L.A. Times has posted a good-sized feature on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." with quotes from the series' cast and crew -- including Clark Gregg.

"I like the darkness of a 'Dark Knight' every once in a while, but there's something about the way [Marvel movies don't] take themselves too seriously, it really allows you to take bigger risks," Gregg told The L.A. Times. "You can have someone drive some crazy winged contraption as long as someone's there [to say], 'Are you seriously going to wear that outfit? You're not going out in that.'"

Swedish website MovieZine has posted behind-the-scenes photos from the series' forth episode, part of which was filmed in Sweden's capital city.

Finally, a new scene from the upcoming pilot has been released via Facebook, which introduces Agent Melinda May.

Debuts September 24 on ABC

BATMAN/SUPERMANEveryone calm down. Justin Bieber is not playing Robin in the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel -- at least, not according to The Wrap, which sources "a person with knowledge of the real script" as stating the one in the photo the teenage pop star Instagrammed over the weekend is in no way genuine. It's likely part of the upcoming Funny or Die sketch Bieber teased directly after releasing the photo.

"I think that maybe was a source of concern or frustration, that she both wore her underwear and had a PhD," Eve told Spinoff Online. "But unfortunately, she has to wear underwear."
