Dancer and actress Sofia Boutella has joined the film adaptation of Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons' "The Secret Service," according to Deadline. The site states the French-Algerian Boutella will play the "lead female antagonist."

Boutella performed as a dancer on Madonna's 2006 Confessions Tour, and her film credits include "StreetDance 2" and the upcoming "Monsters: Dark Continent." The "Secret Service" cast already includes Colin Firth as lead character Uncle Jack, plus Taron Egerton, Sophie Cookson and Samuel L. Jackson.

Based on a series published in 2012 and 2013 by Marvel's creator-owned imprint Icon, "The Secret Service" is currently in production with Mathew Vaughn directing and Vaughn and Jane Goldman co-writing, the same team behind 2010 Mark Millar adaptation "Kick-Ass." The film is scheduled to be released on Nov. 14, 2014.
