Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson posted some pretty great character concept art on his Instagram account today, revealing a first look at what he might be donning in the upcoming direct sequel to "Jumanji."

Johnson presented fans with "The Smoldering" Dr. Bravestone, which sees the wrestler-turned-actor going safari, complete with a large hat that's rather reminiscent of similar, bullwhip-toting adventurer. Previous reports indicated he would be taking the role of Alan Parrish, originally played by the late Robin Williams, so we're unsure just how Dr. Brownstone figures into all this just yet. In any case, check out the image below. Although the proportions are a bit off -- "not sure where my pecs went," Johnson wonders -- it should provide a pretty good indicator of his character's attire for the new film.

Released in 1995, the original "Jumanji" told the story of Alan Parrish, a child who gets trapped in the magical board game for twenty-six years before reemerging to help two children beat the game. Little is still known about the yet-to-be-titled "Jumanji" film other than that Johnson has made it clear it's neither a reboot nor a remake, but a continuation of the original movie's story. Also starring Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Nick Jonas and "Guardian of the Galaxy's" Karen Gillan, the sequel is set to hit theaters a little less than a year from now on July 28, 2017.
