The first full trailer for Marvel's The Punisher debuted yesterday, and now Netflix has released official stills from the series that highlight some of the key players. The pictures were posted with the caption: "Suspicion and covert dealings on all sides," alluding to the major plot point of a military conspiracy that'll haunt Frank Castle throughout the 13-episode series.

These brand new images were posted by the official Twitter account for The Punisher, which still does not have a release date. The images show Frank Castle all bloodied up in his Punisher outfit, his right-hand man and unwilling partner Micro, the presumed big bad of the series Billy Russo and Daredevil character Karen Page making an appearance.

The upcoming Netflix series will flesh out Jon Bernthal's take on the character, adding more dimension to him after his impressive introduction in the second season of Daredevil. Showrunner Steve Lightfoot has gone on record as saying that the solo series will explore the Punisher's human side, rather than relying on his unrelenting quest for revenge, though that will play a significant role in the series. He is the Punisher, after all.
