The film recently made news when it unveiled the rangers’ Zords -- giant mechanized warrior robots that come together to form a much larger, more deadly robot. The film also garnered attention when “Chronicle” and “American Ultra” writer Max Landis’ unused script for the film was posted to Reddit earlier this month.

“Power Rangers” is the film reboot of the television series “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” which ran from 1993 to 1995. It is the third film in the franchise, though marks the first proper reboot for the property. “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” originally aired in Japan as “Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger,” but was significantly changed in localization when it first aired on the Fox Kids weekday afternoon block.
