The Line it is Drawn Try-Out Week 1, Group 7

All day, I’ll be posting entries in groups of 20 artists an entry (except this one, which has 14). Check their work out and marvel at all the great talent on display here. Then, next week, after these artists do a second drawing, we’ll ask you all to vote on your favorites. I’ll also have a group of judges vote for their favorites. I’ll combine the votes and we’ll end up with the two new regular artists for The Line it is Drawn. We’ll also be picking out one regular alternate artist for the Line it is Drawn, but I’ll let you know how we’re picking that artist a little later on.

So kick back and check out some nifty artwork, all based on the same theme as The Line it is Drawn this week, which was “Turn a famous person/character into a superhero or supervillain.”

Enjoy!

Mike did Troy and Abed from Community as Geordi and Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation…

That’s it, folks! Look at all that nifty artwork you people get to see! So come back next week and you’ll see even MORE! And then we’ll find out who will be the two new members of the Line it is Drawn regular crew!

Meanwhile, get yourself on to Twitter and tweet us (at @csbg) suggestions for next week’s topic of team-ups of two comic book characters that have never teamed-up before. We want to have a lot of variety for our contestants to choose from for Week 2. Plus, it is the last week for three of our regulars, so wouldn’t you like to have YOUR suggestion be the last one they drew?

NOTE: If you sent me an image and it somehow did not end up being featured (I am pretty darn sure everyone who sent me anything is up), let me know ASAP and I’ll add it in.
