Those Strucker kids are at it again. A new clip teasing Fox's upcoming The Gifted television series has Lauren Strucker (Natalie Alyn Lind) and Andy Strucker (Percy Hynes) trying out their mutant powers on a vending machine. While Lauren has some luck dislodging a snack, Andy manages to dislodge the vending machine from existence.

The clip, an exclusive courtesy of IGN, is somewhat revealing about the nature of the children's powers and the ordeal they've been put through. The Struckers are on the run after all, forced to remain one step ahead of the government agents intent on locking them up for the crime of simply being born.

The clips reveals that Andy has presumably been bullied for being a mutant, a trauma that causes him to lose control of his powers and rip the vending machine to shreds, lodging shrapnel in his sister's arm.

Debuting on October 2, The Gifted is a production of Marvel Television developed for television by Matt Nix and starring Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White.
