"The Flash" alum Dominic Purcell, who plays the villainous Heat Wave/Mick Rory, has signed on to be a part of the upcoming "Arrow"/"Flash" spinoff, Deadline reports.

Along with Brandon Routh (The Atom/Ray Palmer), Victor Garber (Firestorm/Marin Stein) and Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/Canary), Purcell also reunites with his fellow Rogue Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold/Leonard Snart). Miller and Purcell first appeared together in "The Flash" episode "Revenge of the Rogues." Both actors also worked together on "Prison Break."

"Arrow" creators Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim are set to executive produce the untitled spinoff, which will air on the CW at an as-of-yet undetermined date.

Purcell's casting announcement follows an interview with Berlanti where the producer spoke a little about the spinoff, including Robbie Amell's absence.
