Run, Wally, run! In "The Wrath of Savitar," tonight's episode of "The Flash," Barry puts his protege to the test with a race around Central City. The goal? To make sure Wally is fast enough to put an end to Savitar's deadly plan for Iris.

The scene cuts between Wally's race and Team Flash back at STAR Labs. In STAR Labs, Cisco, Caitlin and HR cheer Wally on. Naturally, HR is Wally's biggest supporter; after all, he believed in Wally when no one else did and helped train him to become the speedster he is today. As such, HR has a lot riding on Wally's performance in this test.

Meanwhile, Barry and Jesse Quick wait with baited breath at the finish line. Wally passes the finish line just before the timer goes off, blasting over it and slamming right into Barry. When Barry checks Wally's time, he comes to the stunning realization that Wally beat the time by .21 seconds -- just fast enough to save Iris from certain death.

However, as he celebrates with Barry and Jesse, Wally gets a quick flash of Savitar watching him in the distance. The vision obviously unsettles him; his joy melts away, and he looks confused and upset. He quickly masks that, though, as soon as Barry asks him what's wrong. Barry is too caught up in the heat of the moment to question Wally's hesitation, agreeing that everyone is proud of him, and the scene draws to a close.

Just before Wally sees Savitar, there's an indication he's about to have a vision. As he runs, he complains to HR about a headache. HR immediately brushes off Wally's comment and tells him that the course was designed to be rigorous. Nevertheless, Wally's headache and subsequent vision echo the experience he had shortly before he got his powers; that is to say, this is how Doctor Alchemy drew Wally to him to give him his powers in the first place. As such, it seems Savitar is still connected to Wally in some way.
