SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Magenta," the latest episode of "The Flash."

Make way, Flash! There's a new speedster in town. In "Magenta," the latest episode of "The Flash," Harrison Wells returned to Earth-1 seeking help for his daughter Jesse, who -- as it turns out -- was affected by the second particle accelerator explosion in the end of Season 2. Now, "The Flash" has solidified her as a hero in her own right, courtesy a Cisco-made super suit.

When Harrison and Jesse initially arrived on Earth-1, Harrison was less-than-thrilled about his daughter's new superpowers. After all, he established his over-protectiveness for Jesse over the course of Season 2; Jesse's new speedster abilities are simply a greater cause for concern. Throughout the episode, he attempted to convince members of Team Flash to talk her out of being a hero -- which only made Jesse dig in her heels about the whole issue.

After a stern talking-to from Caitlin, Harrison finally realized that he was approaching Jesse the wrong way. When Flash needed help talking Magenta down from dropping a ship on top of a hospital, Harrison encouraged Jesse to play the hero once and for all. Jesse was on it in no time; by running in a figure 8 formation, she kept the ship afloat while Flash went to talk to Magenta. Through their teamwork, they were able to resolve the issue without any casualties.

At the end of the episode, Harrison and Jesse finally had a heart-to-heart about her abilities and what she chose to do with them. Harrison acquiesced that Jesse was right all along and that he was being overprotective of her. Afterward, he presented her with a box. When she opened it, she discovered to her delight that Cisco had designed her a speedster suit. Though red like Barry's, Jesse's costume features a black lightning bolt on the chest and yellow accents on the shoulders.

While she didn't wear the costume before the credits rolled, it won't be long until she dons it. The teaser for "The New Rogues," the next episode, shows Jess working with the Flash -- and both are in full costume. Stick with CBR to catch official images as they become available.

In the comics, Jesse Quick has long been part of the Flash family. The name is actually an alias for Jesse Chambers, the Flash’s fellow speedster and the daughter of DC Comics heroes Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle. Like her father, she achieves her super speed through the speed formula. In addition to speed, she also has her mother’s super strength.

Starring Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster, "The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale and more.
