SPOILER WARNING: This article contains spoilers for the upcoming fourth season of CW's The Flash.

Thanks to a picture of Grant Gustin on the set for Season 4 of The Flash, fans have got a brand new look at the Scarlet Speedster's updated suit, which is a far cry from the basic red one-piece he wore in the first season of the show.

In the Season 3 finale, Barry faced off against the big bad for the season: Savitar. After the God of Speed turned out to be an evil version of Barry himself, he voluntarily imprisoned himself inside of the Speed Force. When Barry returns to Earth, it's apparent that he'll not look like his usual self -- when he's in his suit, anyway. Check out the set photo below.

It won't be a shock to see the title character return to the show, but what may surprise some fans is the brand-new suit he's sporting. In the set picture, Barry's costume includes additional accents with an increased usage of gold, much like the Rebirth comics costume. This isn't the first time Barry's donned an upgraded suit, of course. The biggest change thus far has been the updated lightening bolt emblem, changing the background from crimson to the iconic white piece we're used to seeing in the comics.

Fans already knew the new suit would have golden accents thanks to a cheeky Instagram post of the boots from the star himself (shown below), but it's nice to see that this design is present on the entire outfit.

In the first trailer for The Flash: Season 4, which debuted at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Iris was the center of attention. How will she cope with yet another separation from her true love? Barry and Iris' relationship has been anything but steady, though it's all-but-certain his disappearance will only be a minor speed-bump on the path to their inevitable reunion.

Viewers will definitely see The Flash in action in the first episode, despite the six-month time-jump that takes place, but not necessarily Barry's version. Previous set photos of Wally West (played by Keiynan Lonsdale) suggest he'll be taking up the mantle for a while.

Returning Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, The Flash stars stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin and Keiynan Lonsdale.
