Warner Bros.' "The Flash" film is reportedly eying Kiersey Clemons in a leading role.

Clemons previously worked with "The Flash" director Rick Famuyiwa on the critically-acclaimed "Dope." Most recently, Clemons appeared as one of Chloe Grace Moretz's sorority sisters in "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising."

According to Variety, it's looking like Clemons could play reporter Iris West, the classic love interest of Barry Allen/The Flash. The character has yet to debut in a feature film, but she's currently played on TV by Candice Patton.

Directed by Famuyiwa, and written by Seth Grahame-Smith -- from a treatment by "The LEGO Movie" directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller -- "The Flash" is slated for a 2018 release.
