"Days of Our Lives" alum Allison Paige has joined "The Flash" as Trajectory, the show's first female speedster. According to TVLine, Trajectory arrives in Central City with a penchant for chaos.

Eliza Harmon -- who goes by Trajectory when in costume -- will debut in episode 16. After she stirs up some trouble in Central City, Barry gets the blame, which drives him to find her and stop her before she completely ruins his reputation.

In the comics, Trajectory was a short-lived character who debuted in Geoff Johns, Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, Mark Waid and Keith Giffen's "52" #17. She died only four issues in "52" #21. She gained her speed through Lex Luthor's Everyman Project and had a brief stint on his new super-hero team. She hoped to one day become the new Kid Flash before Luthor removed her powers during a battle with Blockbuster, which ultimately killed her.

In addition to her role on "Days of Our Lives," Paige is known for her role as Gigi Darcy in "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries." She has also appeared in "The Wrong Side of Right" and "Baby Daddy."

Starring Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes and Jesse L. Martin, "The Flash" returns airs Tuesdays at 8 pm EST on The CW.
