Iris West (Candice Patton) is going to have to step up her journalism game on this season of "The Flash," as Tone Bell is reportedly joining the CW series for multiple episodes in the second half of the currently unfolding Season 2. Variety reports that actor and comedian Bell will portray Scott Evans, the new boss of Central City Picture News.

After Iris' previous boss was killed earlier this season by Doctor Light, Evans will reportedly push Iris and the other reporters to dig deeper into their stories and report the truth about what's really happening in Central City. This could spell trouble for The Flash, especially if one of the reporters gets close to the truth about his identity.
Best known for his comedic work, Bell's previous his previous acting credits include "Truth Be Told," "Bad Judge," "Chelsea Lately" and "Key and Peele."
"The Flash" returns to The CW January 19, 2016, and stars Grant Gustin, and Jesse L. Martin.
