THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
Collider reports that a new sound mix of the six-minute prologue which augments Bane’s voice has been delivered to theaters. “They’ve cleaned up the dialogue. They’ve gone in and lowered the background noise of the plane and other things, thus making Bane’s dialogue clearer and more understandable,” says their source. By dropping the background noise, he claims the dialogue is “40-50%” clearer. Admittedly, I had trouble with Bane’s line in the teaser at first, but he was clear to me on a second viewing.

“AND SO, WE RETURN AND BEGIN AGAIN”
Between “The Dark Knight Rises,” “The Avengers”, “Prometheus,” and “The Hobbit,” this could be a big year for major motion pictures. Or it could sputter off into oblivion as we reach the point of infinite novelty. I remember my “Invisibles” — it’s the end of the cycle! Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya, bracing for the future threat of the year of novelty.
