It's been a long time since fans have seen a new episode of "iZombie" -- and it's going to be a bit later.

"iZombie," which stars Rose McIver as a medical examiner turned zombie who uses her powers to help solve crimes, will return for its 13-episode third season on Tuesday, April 4 with back-to-back episodes starting at 8 p.m. The explosive second season finale of the show aired on April 12, meaning that the new premiere date has fans waiting almost a full year for the show's return.

The show will take over the 9 p.m. Tuesday time-slot starting April 11, airing following "The Flash." A spring debut is nothing new for "iZombie" -- the show originally premiered back in March 2015.

The network also announced other mid-season premiere dates and schedule changes. Archie comics adaption "Riverdale" will debut on Thursday, Jan. 26, preceded by "Supernatural," which will move to Thursday's at 8 p.m. for the back half of its 12th season. "Legends of Tomorrow" will move to 9 p.m., directly after "The Flash" on Tuesdays.

Wednesdays will be anchored by apocalyptic teen drama "The 100," which will air at 9 p.m. after "Arrow." "Reign" will return Friday, Feb. 10 at 9 p.m., while "The Originals" will return Friday, March 17 at 8 p.m. The series finale of tentpole "The Vampire Diaries" will air on March 10; "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" ends its second season on Friday, Feb. 3.
