Sci Fi Wire has a story about the Frank Miller historical fiction adaptation, where director Zack Snyder talking about the story’s narrator. He said, “Dilios is a guy who knows how not to wreck a good story with truth. If he’s telling you the story about what happened to his boys, and he’s talking about an elephant, and you’ve never seen an elephant, that elephant’s going to be crazy. If the movie takes place from Dilios’ point of view, the audience can make the jump. They don’t have to go, ‘OK, we’re going to Frank Miller world, so check your keys at the door.'”
