One of the lads at Comic Book Movie has compiled a year’s worth of rumors and conjecture concerning the superhero team-up. From Gwyneth Paltrow to the Kree-Skrull War, they take one more look at all the things we still don’t know about this movie. They also included this oddly edited AP video in which Chris Hemsworth appears to confirm that Cap will lead the team:
Directed by Joss Whedon & starring everybody, release date: May 4th, 2012
THE DARK KNIGHT
Bleeding Cool links to a video of unused and alternate material from the now classic film:
Okay, it’s clearly a slow news day … but those shots of Joker in the school bus are pretty intense.
Release date: out now!
THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY
Over the holiday weekend, Peter Jackson released another production diary about moving the crew to the picturesque New Zealand locales. There’s plenty of cool shots, sneak peaks of the characters, and nice look at the now-permanent Hobbiton installation on the North Island. Thanks to Comingsoon, we have the video in an embeddible format:
I like the weird remix of the Ping Island theme from “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou,” too.
Release date: December 14th, 2012
THE WALKING DEAD
Nothing to do on New Year’s Eve? Perhaps you’ll enjoy an all-day marathon of every “Walking Dead” episode so far. The official AMC blog reports that the special day begins at 11AM, December 31st on AMC and ends at Midnight with the second season midway finale. I suppose if you’re reluctant to transverse the dangerous NYE roads, this might remind you that people are okay … well, sometimes … I think.
AQUIVER WITH ANTICIPATION!
The Los Angeles Times Hero Complex wants to know your most anticipated film of 2012. As it happens, so do I. Feel free to drop me a line or answer on the Facebook page. As for me, I think its pretty obvious that I can’t wait for “The Hobbit,” closely followed by “Prometheus.” Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya, bracing for the future threat of ticket prices.
