In the first "Avengers" film, the Avengers -- a team comprised of Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor and the Hulk -- saved New York City. In "Avengers: Age of Ultron," they'll try to save the world.

A new behind-the-scenes featurette for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" takes the team all over the world, including on-set filming locations in Italy, South Korea, the United Kingdom and South Africa. Calling Ultron a "global entity," director Joss Whedon explains the effect that the Avengers have on a similarly global scale.

Along with some new footage, the video spotlights Whedon, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth as they describe just how big this new "Avengers" film really is.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" opens May 1.
