The LA Times Hero Complex blog spoke with Christopher Nolan about the final film and his goals in terms of wrapping up the trilogy.
“Without getting into specifics, the key thing that makes the third film a great possibility for us is that we want to finish our story,” Nolan told Hero Complex. “And in viewing it as the finishing of a story rather than infinitely blowing up the balloon and expanding the story … unlike the comics, these things don’t go on forever in film and viewing it as a story with an end is useful.”

The newest international trailer for “Prometheus” hit the air this weekend — and man, does it ever feature some new footage. It’s a meaty three minutes long.
Additionally, Idris Elba spoke with IGN about his role as Captain Janek.
“He is an engineer. He works on these huge vessels that do long-haul space trips,” Elba told IGN. “He’s the captain of Prometheus and there isn’t much to him. He’s like a longshoreman. There’s no real mystery with him, I don’t think, and why would there be? His job is pretty straightforward. He has a character and personality that will reveal itself in the film. But his purpose on that ship is to fly it and to get it from point A to point B. He’s not really involved in the politics that ensues in the film.”

IRON MAN 3
While speaking with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Badass Digest asked what would happen should Robert Downey, Jr. would ever leave the role of Tony Stark. Feige compared the “Iron Man” franchise to that of James Bond and noted the studio would consider recasting the role.
“I think Bond is a good example,” Feige told Badass Digest. “Let’s put it this way: I hope Downey makes a lot of movies for us as Stark. If and when he doesn’t, and I’m still here making these movies, we don’t take him to Afghanistan and have him wounded again. I think we James Bond it.”
However, while speaking with MTV News, Robert Downey, Jr. expressed that he wouldn’t be giving up the role anytime soon.
“I would really hate for someone else to think they could step into my shoes,” Downey, Jr. told MTV.
“It’s funny. Sometimes you have to call for a good old-fashioned British invasion,” the actor continued, speaking about “Iron Man 3.” “‘Iron Man 3’ is really shaping up to be something special. We start in a couple weeks. I’m sure I’ll be leaking secrets to you as we move ahead.”
