Over a year after the announcement of a partnership between Marvel and Telltale Games for a video game based on the publisher's properties, it's now been revealed that the game is indeed a "Guardians of the Galaxy" outing, as previously rumored. IGN.com has debuted a teaser for the game that boasts the Awesome Mix Tape in all its glory.

The trailer teases, "A Five-Part Episodic Series -- Coming Soon to Consoles, PC and Mobile Devices." The game will premiere sometime in 2017 -- conveniently, the same year "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" comes out.

Telltale's "Guardians of the Galaxy" will also come to retail as a special season pass disc that will grant access to Episode 1 of the game, in addition to the subsequent installments as they become available.
