Ever since Telltale Games announced it was creating an episodic game series based on the world of Batman, fans have been clamoring for the clown prince of crime to show up. Thankfully, they won’t have to wait much longer, as the trailer for the fourth episode in the series showcases the Joker, albeit an early, probably not full-realized version of the classic villain.

In the first look at the game's next chapter, we discover that the Penguin has taken over control of Wayne Enterprises, and Bruce has found himself locked up in Arkham Asylum. Thanks to that, it seems like we’ll be running into a few familiar faces, including the debut of Telltale’s version of the Joker.

In Episode 4, Penguin has taken control of Wayne Enterprises, and the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane has a new guest - you - Bruce Wayne. With the Batman removed from the streets of Gotham City, Harvey Dent's forces and the Children of Arkham are at war, with innocent citizens caught in the crossfire. To escape the 'comforts' of your padded cell, you must choose allies to aid in your escape, even if they aren't the sort to put a smile on your face. How far are you willing to go for justice? For vengeance? What now, Dark Knight?

Telltale also mentioned in the announcement that this episode most definitely affects what happens in the last chapter of the game, explaining, “Players will leave this episode in very different places depending on where they choose to go in the third act, and this will greatly affect their story rolling into the season finale as well.”

The fourth episode of “Batman - The Telltale Series”, titled “Guardian of Gotham," releases on November 22 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and for both iOS and Android devices.
