Team Flash Gets An Ice Cold Ally In "Escape From Earth-2" Pics

Cisco and his Earth-2 teammates keep the criminal Killer Frost close in these photos from next week's "Flash" episode.

Last night's "Flash" featured a number of major surprises. No seriously -- there were a lot of reveals. Next week, the follow-up episode to "Welcome to Earth-2" looks like it will also feature a number of twists -- one of which looks like it's apparent in these promo pics.

Earth-2 is home to Killer Frost, the alternate Earth's evil version of Flash ally Caitlin Snow. Last night's episode featured a major turning point for the ice cold villain, giving her more than enough reason to turn against this season's big bad, Zoom. The pics from the episode, which is titled "Escape from Earth-2," show Killer Frost standing alongside Earth-1's Cisco and his Earth-2 allies. Their partnership looks uneasy as Detective West (Candice Patton) has her gun drawn on the metahuman in a few pics.

"Escape from Earth-2": On Earth-2, the team races to find Zoom's lair and asks for help from the most unexpected source. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) rushes to perfect Velocity-9 so that Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) can stop the Geomancer (guest star Adam Stafford).

"The Flash" airs on Tuesdays at 8 PM ET on the CW.
