This week's episode of "Arrow" is entitled "Spectre of the Gun" – a name it shares with a classic episode of "Star Trek: The Original Series" — but you won't see any Old West shoot-'em-up shenanigans here. In a new clip from the episode, Team Arrow are on the hunt to find the owner of a rifle. Their search soon becomes embroiled in the difficulties of tracking down the gun's owner, which sparks a heated debate about gun control and violence.

Fortunately, the debate is cut short by Felicity's discovery, although viewers will have to tune in to find out what exactly that is; for now, all we can tell is that it "doesn't make sense" to Quentin Lance.

The episode, which is written by the show's executive producer Marc Guggenheim, will also dive into the backstory of one team's latest recruits: Rene "Wild Dog" Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez). It will focus on the factors that prompted him to take up the life of a masked vigilante.

Starring Stephen Amell as the Emerald Archer, “Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, John Barrowman and Willa Holland.
