Summary

The musical horror/comedy cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the product of Jim Sharman and the writer of the original production, Richard O'Brien. Adapted from the stage production, The Rocky Horror Picture Show centers on a young, recently engaged couple, Barry Bostwick (Brad Majors) and Susan Sarandon (Janet Weiss), seeking shelter from a rainstorm after their car gets a flat tire. However, they end up in a strange manor run by self-proclaimed mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter who offers them a place to stay and witness the birth of a new life form. Through elaborate musical numbers and unexplainable occurrences, Janet and Brad will try to survive a night of science fiction, seduction, and musical hijinks. The Rocky Horror Picture Show still has live midnight showings throughout the U.S. and continues its cult status after its original 1974 debut in theaters.
