Summary
Fresh Off the Boat is a sitcom series created by Nahnatchka Khan loosely based on the life of Eddie Huang and his family. Based in 90s Florida, the story follows the Huang family from Chinatown in D.C. to Orlando where the family patriarch played by Randall Park opens a cowboy themed steakhouse restaurant. The series follows them as they continue to engage in hijinx - Mrs. Huang and her business partnership with her neighbor, the boys navigating school life, and citizenship for a Taiwanese-American Family living in the United States. Fresh off the Boat ran for six seasons and 116 episodes before finally ending on February 21 2020. It was also the first U.S. television sitcom to feature an entire Asian American cast decades.
