Summary

Based on the novel by Roald Dahl, Fantastic Mr. Fox is an animated comedy film starring George Clooney as the titular Mr. Fox. Foxy Fox (Clooney), who has settled and been out of the chicken-thieving game for the last twelve years, having started a family with his wife, Felicity Fox (Meryl Streep.) However, when Felicity's family moves in with them, causing him to yearn for more than his job as a columnist, he slips back into the heist life to rob three nearby farmers, ignoring the warning of his lawyer. Invoking the wrath of the farmers, they begin to destroy the homes of the other animals. Fox and the other local animals will band together to pull off one major heist and get their revenge on the cruel farmers. Fantastic Mr. Fox initially premiered in October 2009 at the London Film Festival and in U.S. theaters on November 13 2009.
