Summary

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension is a sci-fi adventure/comedy film that stars Peter Weller as Dr. Buckaroo Banzai, a multi-talented, jack-of-all-trades intellectual who must save the world from the alien menace known as Red Lectoids. After creating a device that allows humans to pass through solid matter, Buckaroo Banzai mistakenly hops into another dimension where he brings an alien back to Earth - catching the attention of the evil Dr. Emilio Lizardo, who seeks to escape their prison to steal the device. When Banzai and his rock band, the Hong Kong Cavaliers, meet peaceful aliens from another world, they learn of warlike ones that now inhabit their own. Banzai and the Cavaliers will face the Red Lectroids in a dimension-hopping, multi genre-bending adventure to save the planet.
