Syfy has debuted the trailer for the second season of the sci-fi mystery "12 Monkeys."

The 13-episode second season of “12 Monkeys” sees stars Aaron Stanford, Amanda Schull, Kirk Acevedo, Emily Hampshire, Barbara Sukowa and Todd Stashwick reprise their roles, as time traveler Cole (Stanford) must defeat a centuries-old organization known as the Army of the 12 Monkeys to prevent a dark, hellish future from unfolding.

Based on the 1995 Terry Gilliam film of the same name, "12 Monkeys" returns Monday, April 18, on Syfy.
