James Mangold’s “Logan” releases tomorrow and audiences are already coming out of the woodwork to say they want more R-rated superhero movies. A recent Fandango survey (via Deadline) says audiences want more guns, sex and violence in their superhero flicks.

The survey claims 71% of Fandango users think more superhero movies should sport an R-rating. Meanwhile, 86% of users polled said they’re just interested in seeing a more violent, adult “X-Men” movie. If the survey results don’t speak loud enough, industry projections for “Logan’s” opening weekend rest at somewhere between $65 to $70 million domestic, while the film looks to rake in $170 million internationally.

In 2015, Tim Miller’s “Deadpool” movie proved that R-rated superhero films can find life at the box office. The movie raked in $783 million at the box office over its lifespan with a budget of just $58 million. That pales in comparison to 2016’s “Captain America: Civil War,” which has so far seen $1.1 billion in box office returns, but it still better than “X-Men: Apocalypse,” which came out in 2016 and netted $544 million.

Debuting in theaters March 3, “Logan” is a production of Marvel Entertainment directed by James Mangold and starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Dafne Keen.
