SUPERMAN

There's a new video blog up at the Blue Tights Network, where writers Dan Harris & Mike Dougherty spend a few minutes discussing the challenges of telling such a well-known story and what it's like working with Bryan Singer and his familiar crew.

X-MEN 3

Hold on to your metal fillings -- Sir Ian McKellan announced on his website that he's going to be sliding on the helmet one more time. "Although I haven't actually signed the contract it is intended that I reprise Magneto in the 3rd 'X-Men' movie. Shooting starts in September in Vancouver, where I shall join the cast after completing my work on 'Da Vinci Code.'"

SMALLVILLE

Actor John Glover talked to the Windy City Times and discussed some of the acting challenges of the last season, including being Clark Kent. "What I found, because I play so many kind of neurotic, psychotic characters that the problem I had right at the beginning was I kept doing too much ... Tom plays that hero thing so well and so simply. And it was the simplicity thing I had the most trouble with."

FANTASTIC FOUR

The artwork for the score has been released by Varese Sarabande Records, the Moviebox has all of the TV spots and the "Showbiz Extra" feature at News.com's Australian site (look towards the right of the page) has more behind-the-scenes footage.

BATMAN BEGINS SEQUELS

According to Superhero Hype, director Christopher Nolan talked to a publication called the Lacenby News saying that he's not sticking around for the Boy Wonder. "This is a young Batman, so Robin's a few films ... not for a few pictures anyway. Dick Grayson's still in a crib somewhere. I seriously doubt I will even be involved when Robin's in the franchise" Nolan said.
