DC Comics has revealed via The Source the October 2011 solicitation text and cover images for the Superman family of books including "Action Comics" by Grant Morrison with art by Rags Morales and Rick Bryant, "Superman" by George Perez with interior art by Jesus Merino, "Superboy" by Scott Lobdell with art by RB Silva and Rob Lean and "Supergirl" by Michael Green and Mike Johnson with art by Mahmud Asrar. The Superman solicits wrap up the announcements DC began last week with gradual reveals for the New 52 October issues with the the Bat-family, The Dark, The Edge and Green Lantern, leaving just the sophomore issues of the Superman titles unannounced. DC also announced "DC - The New 52," a free book with further details on the relaunch and a 6-page preview of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee's "Justice League," along with a number of new DCnU series including "The Shade," "Penguin: Pain and Prejudice", "The Huntress," the Paul Levitz-written "Legion: Secret Origin" and the "My Greatest Adventure" anthology.
