While Amell’s photo is surely a great tease for Superman — as well as “Supergirl’s” — arrival on The CW, this is no confirmation that Hoechlin’s Man of Tomorrow will make his way onto the upcoming four-show crossover that’s slated to air this fall, nor that the two are going to meet up face-to-face quite yet. However, it’s safe not to rule out some kind of on-screen meeting, since “Supergirl” has much more flexibility to cross over with her sister shows now that she’s made the move to her new network.
The second season of “Supergirl” is scheduled to premiere on Monday, October 10 at 8 pm EST on The CW, switching networks after a first season on CBS. Starring Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards and David Ramsey, “Arrow” will return to The CW on Wednesday, October 5 at 8 pm EST.
