Try as she might, M'gann M'orzz can't outrun her past. According to a new synopsis for "The Martian Chronicles," the "Supergirl" episode that airs on February 6, the White Martians will track her down in order to try her as a traitor to Mars. However, they'll have to get through Supergirl and Martian Manhunter first.

WHITE MARTIANS ATTACK THE DEO — Armek (guest star Terrell Tilford), a White Martian, descends on National City intent on taking M’gann (guest star Sharon Leal) back to Mars to face her punishment as a traitor. Hank (David Harewood) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) determine the best way to keep M’gann safe is to bring her to the DEO. However, when it is revealed that Armek shape-shifted into M’gann and is now loose in the building, the team realize he could be disguised as any one of them. David McWhirter directed the episode written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn (#211). Original airdate 2/6/2017.

M'gann and Hank, aka J'onn J'onzz, have had a pretty contentious relationship since the season started. At first, M'gann led Hank to believe that she too was a Green Martian. After she had to give him a blood transfusion, though, he learned the truth: she had been a White Martian all along.

Unlike her peers, M'gann showed remorse over the actions her people had taken against the Green Martians. As such, she escaped to Earth and hid out in Central City, acting as a bartender at Maggie Sawyer's favorite dive bar. This way, she remained undiscovered -- that is, until now.

Despite their complicated history, it seems that Hank will set their difference aside in order to protect her, and he'll have Supergirl by his side as he does so. Nevertheless, their kindness will spell trouble for the DEO, as the White Martian uses his shapeshifting ability to wreak havoc inside the organization. However, this isn't the DEO's first encounter with a White Martian, so they may just have the tools to keep the situation under control.

Starring Melissa Benoist as the Girl of Steel, “Supergirl” airs Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW.
