Last fall, "Supergirl" broke new ground when the series introduced the Man of Steel, himself -- a role that "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Hoechlin is set to reprise in the Season 2 finale. While it's unclear if we'll ever see Superman's notorious foe Lex Luthor pop up in National City, apparently Lena Luthor actress Katie McGrath's fan-casting short list for the role starts and ends with one name: Bruce Willis.

While speaking with TVLine, McGrath was asked who she would tap to play the role of her villainous on-screen brother, if only for a single episode. "One episode?" McGrath remarked. "Bruce Willis, the most amazingly, good-looking, bald man there ever is." The interviewer would then go on to mention Willis' cameo at -- quick SPOILER ALERT -- the end of the most recent M. Night Shyamalan thriller "Split," which elicited even more enthusiasm from McGrath. "Right? Was he delicious?" McGrath queried rhetorically. "He’s delicious. He’d be a good Lex."

We do know that McGrath will be returning as a series regular for Season 3 of "Supergirl," so it's not outside the realm of possibility to imagine that Lena's brother will show up in an episode, even if only for a cameo appearance. However, The CW having enough buffer room in their budget to allow for the casting of a high-caliber actor such as Bruce Willis seems far less likely.
